The new app is bad. Why fix something that aint broke?
As a frequent user of Comfort Taxis, i am disappointed. This app is a disservice to both customers as well as your drivers. U cannot see the address to which u have booked clearly on the screen. U can only see it in the mini map. Why isnt it visible in the bottom part of the screen along with the taxi fare like before? Another huge problem is the inability to contact the driver after the app alleges that the driver has reached the destination. What if i cannot find the driver in the maze of carparks? It happened to me today, and it just so happens that i have the habit of taking screenshots of my bookings so i had the driver’s number and was able to communicate with him. BIG not ok. Twice today i have booked pick up addresses that have gone wrong in the app - it changes it to an address it is familiar with. BIGGER not ok. I cannot seem to access the menu or my profile if there is an on-going booking, nor can i book another taxi at the same time! If there is a way, it isnt intuitive. Why such a bad start? The existing app was working SOOOO much better!

This app is far behind the previous version. With many loopholes that need fixing. Firstly, the auto-call only dials AFTER the taxi has arrived at the pick up stop. so the taxi driver assumes passenger is late when the passenger does not even know he taxi driver has arrived !
Secondly, the taxi is AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED after the estimated arrival time expires (eg 1-3 min or 6-8 min or 8-10 min) regardless of whether the taxi is on his way or already arrived at the pick up stop. I spent 10
Minutes waiting for my taxi to drive in only to get a call to say it has been cancelled and the taxi was right in front of me going from red (booked) to green (available). Any other customer would have been confused if not frustrated !!
Just two simple bugs that I have picked up by using the app a mere 3 times. Please fix it or we will be moving to grab and go-jek soon. Many of our colleagues and friends have already made the move so you are losing customers fast. A real pity more testing wasn’t done before the launch.
The app needs great improvement. Seriously a waste of time.
Firstly, I’ve been using ur app for years. However, after the update the accuracy of the location and the time frame needed for the driver to pick up is wrong.
1st incident: I had no call or whatsoever to indicate that the driver has reached. You do not expect ur customers to look at the phone all the time. And I had the driver calling me to inform he is already here. It was nice of him to do so.
Previously, the driver would do a callout.
2nd incident: the app indicated the driver is still on the way. System sent an sms to get ready, but driver was 3 traffic lights away. And then when I came down ur driver drove off. Good job done, comfort. I had to rebook again which took my time.
3rdly: today was disastrous. I booked at 7.40, app indicated that driver would take roughly 8-10 mins. Fairly enough I waited, but he was stuck in a jam. Alright, that is not comforts problem anyway. But the least ur app could provide is to indicate how long more it would take. It was until 8am was wherei decided to cancel.
It showed me <1 mins when the driver was at pathlight school and I’m at Bishan. Do you expect the driver to fly? Like seriously, do something to improve on ur accuracy. Time is precious, do not waste the passengers time. While traffic jams are unavoidable, ur system can do better.
Please do not give me a headache. Thank you.
