Flo Period & Cycles Tracker 12+

I’ve been using this app for close to 3 years - you can imagine the amount of data in there (72 months!) that I had been diligently uploading all these while to track my health. This kind of data is very precious and crucial to women, but today I’m deeply disappointed to find that for no reason I’ve been logged out and am asked to sign in. The first time in 3 years! I’m not even sure if I had a registered account as it’s been 3 years since I’ve started using this app, now I’m left without any access to my data.

No warning, no notification, no reminder - nothing that asked me to register if I hadn’t. Now I’m floored and terribly upset and disappointed that all my data is gone. I’m going to have to cough something up to my gynae on my next visit because of this - I sincerely wish Flo understood more the magnitude of the data women upload in here!

I was having menstrual cycle disorder and couldn't guess when we would be the next time after each. From using this app which calculates and predicts your cycle based on the duration of your period, and interval of your period. Plus, it also gives the tips and education about period including the features that measure your weight, mood etc. i would say this app is very useful and helpful for a busy woman like me.

Used it for almost 2 years. It’s great to see how to team has improved by having more features. There are group chats/ forums within the apps which cover various topics- interesting to read the comments.

However, in recent months, the app is moving away from providing ‘free info’ to almost everyone to only benefiting members who are paying for the monthly/ yearly subscription now. You can’t find substantial information if you aren’t a subscribed member. Basically, I’m just using the app to log my pms and menstrual cycle. I would recommend only using this if you’re willing to pay. The features do seem insightful and informative.

With this update we’ve moved some features from the free plan to the premium plan, so some of the content that you are used to seeing on the free plan, is now available only to our premium subscribers. However, the core features of our app (cycle tracking and prediction) remain free for everyone.

All our users can now further personalize the app to make Flo’s predictions even more useful and accurate. Subscribers also get unlimited access to the Discovery section, our rich and robust library of multimedia health and wellness content.

Flo’s business model is subscription-based. This means that the more value you and other users see in Flo, and are willing to pay for, the more resources we receive to continue developing the app, its functionality, content, and expertise. We’ve deliberately chosen this model because we think it is the fairest and most transparent one, the one that puts our users first. With a subscription model none of our users receive annoying or and irrelevant ads, and your data is safe and secure -- regardless of whether or not you’re a subscriber. Those of our users who subscribed to premium provide the resources for us to be able to keep the basics free for everyone.

You can find tons of helpful health and wellness information in our new Discovery section, which has replaced the Health Insights. Discovery has a rich and exclusive content library and is super easy to navigate.
