Remove the word “reliable” ride from your intro


Remove the word “reliable” ride from your app intro as grab has been unreliable again, wasted my time.

It was raining when i booked a car, waited then app said “your driver has arrived”. The car didnt drive through the condo driveway. All my other bookings knew to go inside as cars are not allowed to wait for a long time outside the condo unless parking at the side parking slots. I saw the car went to the side parking. Had to get my umbrella and walk over to the car. Opened the door and the driver said “i dont have any trips”. Confused, i showed him the app and asked if that is his plate number (i only memorized the last 4 digits and 1 letter and mightve been mistaken). He said its his plate number. He asked my to sit inside the car while he checks his phone. I noticed that he is only turning on his phone at the time. He said his app doesnt have the trip. I told him to contact grab. He said he is calling but no one is picking up? I also tried to search the app for a way to call - there is no way. End result is that i left his car in a very angry and bad mood. In the app it says “report a past trip issue” under help centre. But nowhere is there an option to report the app as an issue, or nowhere is there an option to select the situation i was in. Your servers or apps may not be “highly available”, but it seems there are negative scenarios one must test if your customers cant even report on this in your app.

Worst app ever


This is really useless app, always make people wait for so long for the drivers to accept the trip, once the driver is not happy they could cancel as and when they like it. When we called the customer service though it is 24hours they couldn’t do anything about any mistake and push the blame on passengers as and when they like. Grab is really earning a lot of money from the consumers and yet nothing is done from the customer service side or technical side. When u are booking for a vehicle be it a taxi or a grabcar, u are unable to press back as u must wait till any of the drivers accept your trip. Example, u happened to be at a taxi stand booking a grabcar, the waiting time is really long as there are no drivers to accept your calls, a normal taxi just reached the taxi stand but u are unable to cancel anything while waiting for grab drivers to accept your trip, really ridiculous as other apps from other country are able to cancel looking for drivers. This is really retarded after spending most of my money on grab which I became platinum within like 1 week using this app. Nothing good in return even they stare u are the prioritize customer. Same as normal consumers.

Super long wait


I hate it when I get a cab/car that says 'is alighting a passenger first' and the time given is 8 or 10mins... then it just hangs there and u see the car not moving at all and after waiting 15mins, it's still at 8mins. It gets very frustrating when I'm in a rush and had to wait so Loong. Grab should do something and not allow the time to be over 8mins too. Or allow other drivers which hve no passengers nearby to take the job instead!
Also, I had drivers taking jobs from a farther place even though there are other drivers nearby and then had to wait a long time for them to come again. Worse is went they took it when on the expressway, u had to wait for them to exit and come to u. When I asked, they said No Choice bcos of their incentive. They can reject any calls or their acceptance rate will drop and affect them. Then they nonchalantly told me if u cannot wait then u cancel lor!!!
