Slight inconvenience
Hello, my experience with the app has been quite fine so far. However, the recent update I had to make in order to continue using it has some drawbacks which somewhat affected my experience of the app. The main complains I have are the numerous unnecessary and uninteresting options present on the main chat, the drastic change in layout in comparison to the previous version and the larger than life emojis that appear in the occasions I do use them. As one can tell those are simply minor so I think having a setting for controlling things like the size of emojis or presence of whatever is on screen would be much appreciated. Thank you
Messages sent to one friend end up on another chat
I don’t usually use Facebook Messenger since WhatsApp is my primary app but sometimes if I want to share posts and stuff to small group of friends I will use it. So this has happened twice already and it’s frustrating as hell. I would share a post, make a comment before I sent to a friend. Twice, on different occasions, when I checked back for replies, I saw that my comment + post that was sent to one friend ends up on some chat group which I haven’t been using for more than 3 years bare minimum. I deleted the group chat the first time it happened. And ... I have to delete the second one when it happened too. This can’t keep happening. I only click “send” to one person and it should stay that way. How it made it to another chat is beyond me because that chat would have been at the bottom of the chat list and wouldn’t been visible to me at all unless I scrolled all the way down.
Inactive messages disappeared automatically without deleting it
All inactive messages and group chats conversations disappeared automatically in messenger without me deleting it. This problem happened after updating app to latest version. I’m still in many old inactive group chats conversations in messenger app, and I didn’t quit groups or delete them but I cannot see all my inactive conversations in app anymore unless someone starts conversations again. If the conversation is inactive again for about 4-5 days, it disappeared automatically again in messenger. I checked these messages aren’t archived as well. I want all my inactive old conversations back in my messenger, please. :( Please fix it. I don’t remember all the names of group chat conversations to search again. :( Please don’t make inactive messages disappear automatically in messenger app unless we delete them.
