MSG files are often generated by the PC version of Microsoft Outlook. This proprietary format is easily read on other PCs, but it is unrecognisable on Macs - even if you are using Microsoft Outlook for Mac or Apple Mail. MSG Viewer for Outlook works like magic by converting the unrecognisable format into the email that your friend or coworker intended to send you - and it all happens in a split second.
With this easy-to-use program, you'll be able to open all of those MSG files seamlessly in your favourite Mac email clients. Batch processing and conversion of Outlook MSG contacts (.vcf) is also supported.
The free version only converts selected portions of the MSG file. The licensed version (available via in-app purchase) activates all features, including complete conversion of MSG files and batch processing.

Being a mac user, i am always prepare for inconveniences esp if we are using it for office purpose.
And to match ms outlook with mac, you have to expect problems even when it looks as simple as opening an outlook email attachment.

As with another review, I definitely agree with eevrything said.
MSG Viewer is a simple app that allows you to use Outlook files with ease, no random processing or errors you don’t even understand how to fix. It is simple and it is very effective. There is no actual ui that opens up or requires any start up time at all to function, it Just Opens the files. When you need to manually open files, simply drag and drop unto the smallest and simplest ui as shown in the screenshots provided.
It just works.
I gave 4 stars because I think the price is a barrier for most users including myself. However if you’re not cheap, grit your teeth, pay it once and just enjoy because it is worth to never worry about such issues as a mac user again.
