Absolutely brilliant
I have been using Paper for almost 3 years now, and it has been an amazing, incredibly useful app. I am able to keep my notes organised and pretty looking, with the different tools available. Even though I do not have the Pro version, it has proved to be very successful and helpful to me. I use it often for my class notes, and it has a very effective change on the way I even feel about studying. Paper motivates me to study. However, something I find quite frustrating is that Paper has a lot of glitches, and unfortunately this is quite common. It crashes a lot, and I often find myself sent out of the app, rarely my work is gone. But in general, Paper is a very good app and I recommend it to users like me.
Needs 120hz support
I have been using this app since the early days of its release when it had that older icon. My favourite feature is the cut and paste tool. I just wish it had 120hz screen support. On my third iPad pro now, notability, concepts and other amazing apps with realistic pens all have 120hz latency support.
Sadly the brushes here still lack that. Nonetheless it creates amazing sketches for architecture and the toolset is minimal yet perfectly adequate. Just a little bit more before it’s perfected.
Quality dropped over the past uograde
I’m using this app (Pro) for more than 2 years. It’s been fantastic and I am willing to pay but I realized the response of app has deteriorated. Example Setting finger drawing for cutting doesn’t always work and recognize as writing. Cutting and living action also became a little clunky. It was much better before. I cannot search pages by word ( typed word on paper) now I have a few hundred pages and I have to flip pages by my gut feeling to locate the page in the past. I would have given 5 stars but I will give 3 stars for now. Looking for the improvement ASAP.
