Simple to use
Awesome software. Simple to use and get things done.
Skitch 2 is terrible
I was a paying customer back when Evernote wasn't in the picture. Skitch was the most fantastic screenshot tool, with most of oft-used features available on the interface or via shortcuts. And if you needed power features, they were there, under the hood.
Skitch 2.0 is not just a "completely new, simple and clean interface". It's completely useless. Things which were available with one click now requires you to dig into menus. Worse, most of the useful features have been removed.
Clunky, clumsy and badly implemented
The version 2 of Skitch is has taken away everything that has made it useful. It used to have a small footprint, easily accesible and sharing was a click away. Now it clumsy and unwieldy. This app has been going backwards since Evernote took over. It's the reason I don't use Evernote for my work. It's clunky and overbearing. I will be looking to revert to an earlier version or in the lack of it, an alternative app. Goodbye Skitch. It was great while it lasted.
