Ratings and Reviews

Feels just like a board game, without the waiting.

Wonderful game mechanics, beautiful graphics, straightforward gameplay, a lovely soundtrack.

As a female player, I was thrilled that the Prophetess (cool blonde woman in a gown) is in this edition, with more characters to come.

But having played a couple of quests where you start with the Warrior then unlock the rest with each subsequent quest, one does not feel the gender issue as much because the focus is on the board and the game is so arresting and immersive that I did not feel it as much as a game with a first person view with a portrait or a character representative of you running around, completing quests.

The game itself feels like a real board game. Kudos to the developers for bringing it to life. Highly recommended for anyone who loves RPGs and fantasy board games.

Wonderful electronic version of a classic boardgame

Very pleasantly surprised by the superb rendition of one of fantasy gaming's most beloved classics. Wasn't sure what single player would mean (btw a separate multiplayer version is in the works) but the ways this 4-man team has translated the game is ingenious.

The professional quality of the game UI, graphics and mechanics give no clue that the team is so small. In very impressed and happy to support.

Definitely for die-hard fans

Personally I enjoyed the translation of the mechanics, but to others there's no challenge so it will get boring after the nostalgia wears off...

And there's currently nothing to save the current game in progress so it gets frustrating when you can't carry on where you left off.
