Formed by former Buckcherry bassist Jonathan Brightman in 2008, Black Robot are a classic rock throwback based out of Los Angeles, California that includes guitarists Andy Andersson and Staffan Österlind, drummer Possum Hill, and vocalist Harold Johns. In 2010, the quintet finally released its self-titled debut, but ran into trouble the following year and it was announced that Johns had left the band. Later that year, singer Jeremy Aric joined, and Black Robot went back into the studio to work on their second album with producer Dave Cobb. ~ Gregory Heaney
