About L-FRESH The LION

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember the first time I watched the music video for Nas Is Like on Rage at like 2am when I was a teenager. I remember it like it was yesterday. It blew my mind. That song is classic, from the Premo production to the bars & the video is fire. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Black Star, Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star Dave, PSYCHODRAMA J. Cole, 4 Your Eyez Only Each of these albums have meant a lot to me at different stage of my life. They all take me in to their world Black Star was my go-to in my 20s, 4 your Eyez is still one of my go-to's when I'm traveling / on tour, and PSYCHODRAMA is a masterpiece. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Born To Stand Out” This is my personal anthem. My daily reminder of my intention and purpose. It doesn't matter how people or the world around me sees me. I was born to stand out. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had just turned 21 and I celebrated by going on tour as national support for Nas during his first headline tour of Australia. I'll never forget it. My favourite moment was standing side of stage and watching him play at a sold out Enmore Theatre. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Tour internationally. I'm about to make that happen.
