About Manolo García

A graphic designer, Latin Grammy-winning, multi-platinum singer/songwriter, and painter, Manolo García turned to music in 1980 as frontman for the Latin pop group Los Rápidos. After teaming with guitarist Quimi Portet in 1982, he formed Los Burros and issued the LP Rebuznos de Amor. Although the group disbanded soon after, García and Portet forged ahead as a duo, adopting the name El Último de la Fila and recording a series of hit LPs including Cuando la Pobra Entra por la Puerta. García eventually went solo, making his RCA debut in 1998 with Arena en los Bolsillos. Since then he has sold more than 27 million records with over 13 albums, including 2004's Para Que No Se Duerman Mis Sentidos, 2011's Los Días Intactos, and 2020's live, multi-disc audio-video package Acústico, Acústico, Acústico. ~ TiVo Staff
