Chicago's Pine Valley Cosmonauts are a loose musical collective founded by Jon Langford, and also include core members Steve Goulding, Tom Ray, and John Rice along with a rotating cast of players. Specializing in themed covers and tribute albums, the group has released several albums, including Misery Loves Company: Songs of Johnny Cash (1995), Salute the Majesty of Bob Wills (1998), Beneath the Country Underdog and Stranger in My Land (as Roger Knox & the Pine Valley Cosmonauts in 2013). ~ Steve Leggett
