Album Review

Irregular album by the great singer Emílio Santiago showing his indecision in the choice between his wonderful samba renditions and a more commercial/romantic repertoire. There is axé music in "Beija-flor," pop in Lulu Santos' "Assim Caminha A Gumanidade," Chico César's "À Primeira Vista" soul ballad in the classic "Brigas" (Jair Amorim/Evaldo Gouveia), diluted samba in Paulo Diniz's hit "Um Chope Pra Distrair," doleful canção in "Viagem," and in a selection of romantic songs that closes the album.
