Album Review

Spanish pop-punk band Pignoise broke through to the mainstream with their third album, Anunciado en Televisión, released in 2006. The first single from the album, "Nada Que Perder," reached number 15 on the charts in Spain, but was perhaps better recognized as the theme song for the television show Los Hombres de Paco, which ran for five years between 2005 and 2010. The second single, "Te Entiendo," fared much better on the charts, peaking at number one.

Spanish punk band Pignoise — comprised of Alvaro (vocals and guitar), Polo (drums), and Pablo (bass) — may never have existed were it not for an unfortunate soccer injury. Frontman Alvaro was a semi-professional soccer player with Getafe CF and Real Madrid before he was laid up with a serious injury.
