Bluetree

About Bluetree

Like many CCM bands, Ireland's Bluetree do not just sing about a life of service to God, but actually live it. The members of the four-piece met at Belfast's Strandtown Christian Fellowship and, since 2004, have used their stirring, electric-acoustic pop-rock as a musical ministry. Their profile was elevated when CCM star Chris Tomlin covered the uplifting single "God of This City" from the band's 2007 debut album. The song was written during an outreach trip to Thailand, and the success of the single and album inspired the band to create a charity that rescues children from Thailand's sex trade.
