Joining the ranks of Latin pop, Dominican-born singer Luisa credits her cultural background and musical influences such as Gloria Estefan, Ruben Blades, Santana, and Millie Quesada for sharpening her own tropical-fusion singing style. She already assumed her role in the entertainment industry early on, and at age 13 she wrote her first song.
