About Michael Maricle

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I began playing piano at the age of four. My parents bought a piano and I immediately began making music on the black keys. I remember this because I knew it sounded good. You really can't play a wrong note if you just play the black keys. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Boards of Canada, Music Has the Right to Children Cocteau Twins, Blue Bell Knoll Random Rab, aRose "Blue Bell Knoll" represents my early influences, "Music Has The Right To Children" represents when I began producing music, and aRose represents the the quality of music I strive to create. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Believe” I love this song because it's gentle yet transporting, simple yet rich. I love creating songs like this, that transport me into a vibe or mood. They are easier for me to finish than songs that are more intricate and complex.
