||Podtacular 413: Proving Ground||This week in Halo news, we get our first glances at the Cortana personal assistant coming to the Windows Phone 8.1 update. The Verge was able to get some time using the new software and pointed out some of it’s features to be expected. Someone has outdone themselves and put together a seven foot long Spirit of Fire out of Mega Blocks. It is a truly amazing feat taking up a laundry lists of Halo Mega bloks sets to put together. ||Podtacular 412: Testing Your Medal||We’re currently in a little bit of a low point for news this week and until more rumors surface, if any, we won’t get much until the time E3 rolls around. Not to worry though as we this week’s Halo Bulletin to review and discuss. He have a new issue of Halo Escalation, updates coming to matchmaking next week, and the announcement that the Halo Waypoint mobile applications being discontinued. ||Podtacular 411: Rumble Rabble||The New York Toy Fair has wrapped up and we saw some really cool toys, figures and swag get shown off. To help cover some of the Mega Bloks detail, (which I’m personally interested in) we had HaloFanForLife drop by the show to go over some additional details on the sets. We also go over a few extra things from Crowded Coop that we didn’t cover on lasts show and how much your wallet will hurt after this year. In addition to the toy fair news, we have this week’s latest Halo Bulletin discussing the upcoming matchmaking playlist rotation for Medal Madness on March 3rd. ||Podtacular 410: Toy Affair||It just so happens that the rumor mill never sleeps and is never without its crazy side. We mentioned on our last show how Steve Downes confirmed the existence of Halo 2 Anniversary, or so we thought. Since then, IGN has reached out and received some clarification that Downes was simply making a statement based on what people have rumored on the internet, but that’s not all there is to it. We made a post about IGN’s findings yesterday and encourage everyone to go out and develop your own opinion, but we voice ours during the show. In other news, the New York Toy Fair started this week and we have seen some pretty cool things that any Halo fan will want to get their hands on. ||Podtacular 409: I Need an Anniversary||If you haven’t been living under a rock for the last 24 hours, then you would have heard about the upcoming Steve Downes interview. If you have been living under a rock, why are you under that rock? Come out already, unless you’re snowed in, in which case, carry on. In an interview GameZone.com did with Steve Downes, they mention that our beloved Chief confirmed the release of Halo 2 Anniversary this year with Halo 5 being pushed back for the next (out now). There is still no official work from Microsoft or 343 Industries on the matter, however. ||Podtacular 408: Heavies Go Boom||This week on the podcast, we are left rumor-less as the Halo 2 Anniversary get’s a little more weight behind it on the social networking front, but nothing substantial. With that said, we still had Team Heavies hit the matchmaking system this week along with the Xbox 360 release of Spartan Assault last week. ||Podtacular 407: Halo Bowl-orama||The long anticipated wait for Brent is over as he is back in the co-host seat where be belongs thanks to one of our listeners, Godzilla Todd. We had him on the show for episode 405 and we appreciate his contribution to the show. Hive him a shout out on Twitter; he deserves it. To welcome back Brent to the podcast, the rumor mill gives us info that hints at the possibility of a Halo 2 Anniversary coming out this year delaying Halo 5 until next year. Again, these are just rumors and should be treated as such until official confirmation has been given. This weekend, 343 is hosting it’s Halo Bowl, a spin off of the Turkey Bowl done back in November last year where the team colors have been changed to reflect this year’s Super Bowl teams. Monday we see the return of Team SWAT followed by the highly anticipated Heavies playlist two weeks from then. ||Podtacular 406: I Love Bees Too||A recent influx of players to Halo 3 has generated discussions of what is important for the Halo franchise to succeed with Halo 5, but recent news may have Halo fans looking back further than the first HD Halo title. A recent update to the I Love Bees website, an ARG campaign that was run to promote Halo 2, has people speculating on the possibility of yet another Halo Anniversary game releasing this year. ||Podtacular 405: Rumor Mill Begins||It’s the dawn of a new year for Halo and the rumors have already started to hit the internet about the next title in the franchise and other productions around the Halo Universe. Among them, rumors of a potential Halo movie has been dissolved and a supposed leaked cut-scene has hit the web. Microsoft is working on a Siri competitor aptly named Cortana, which is pretty cool news for any Halo fan. GH057ayame has been hired by 343 as a tester for the next Halo title.
