About Jerreau

American rapper Jerreau Smith was originally a member of the Columbus, Ohio hip-hop outfit Fly Union. Along with production duo MnkeyWrench (Iyeball & Jay Swifa), Jerreau released a pair of studio albums as Fly Union, with TGTC arriving in 2011 and Small Victories in 2014. He parted ways with the group and made his solo debut in 2015 with the Swifa-produced single "Really Got It," which went on to become the Cleveland Cavaliers' anthem during the 2016 NBA Finals. Smith's debut effort, Never How You Plan, was issued that summer. The 14-track collection showcased Smith's thoughtful, densely packed bars and throwback production. It featured appearances by Kaine on "The Flow (Four Stories)" and Lolah Brown on the Aaliyah-sampling "Come Over." ~ Neil Z. Yeung
