About All About Eve

UK dream pop outfit All About Eve was formed by singer Julianne Regan, guitarist Tim Bricheno, bassist Andy Cousin, and drummer Mark Price in 1984. After a series of singles, their self-titled debut was released in 1988, followed by SCARLET AND OTHER STORIES the following year. In 1990, Bricheno was replaced by Marty Willson-Piper, moonlighting from The Church, and the band's sound was decidedly influenced by the then-current shoegazer scene. Although All About Eve was on hiatus through the latter half of the 1990s, they did not officially break up until 2004. The 2006 compilation KEEPSAKES collects the band's highest points.
