Pierre Nozière est un personnage créé dès 1885 par Anatole France et qui apparaît dans ses œuvres de souvenirs : Le Livre de mon ami, 1885; Pierre Nozière, 1899; Le Petit Pierre, 1918; La Vie en fleur, 1922. Dans Pierre Nozière, Anatole France décrit l'univers d'enfance comme une île, limitée par l'extrémité de la rue des Petits-Augustins (aujourd'hui Bonaparte), la colline du Trocadéro, le pont d'Austerlitz et les berges de la Seine. Univers aux bords duquel commence le mythe, puisque le Jardin des Plantes n'est autre que le Paradis terrestre, et que, pense le petit garçon, la Terre sainte et la Mer morte sont immédiatement au-delà du pont d'Austerlitz.
