I was so hyped about the app, until...
Dear Depop Team,
I know many Turks have already addressed the issue with PayPal, but I wanna address it once again for this issue to get prioritized, because Depop seems like it‘s THE app for me and I think it‘ll be my number 1 shopping app if this issue gets fixed, which I hope will happen as soon as possible.
I had had decided on starting thrifting rather than buying fast fashion due to ethical and financial reasons. I had looked for several thrifting sites, applications and shops, and finally found Depop. After spending some time in the app, I designed a brand new wardrobe for myself, with many of my dream items I couldn’t find anywhere. I was so so SO hyped about everything about Depop. It was exactly killing two, in fact THREE birds with one stone: having my dream wardrobe, being sustainable and spending very little money. So right now, that I have spent lots of time in the app, that I have so many items liked/saved, so many things I have had been planning on buying, the PayPal issue frustrates me even more.
Depop is an amazing app, and I appreciate that the team takes the feedbacks of the users seriously, even when they can be considered a minority compared to all of the users of the app. I also appreciate and understand the concern for safety, which shows the priorities of the team, safety first, money second. I just want to stress this problem once again, and that this issue gets fixed as soon as possible.

Hey. Thanks for sharing your feedback. PayPal is our payment provider, which ensures that buying and selling are protected in-app. Good news though, we’re currently looking at alternative payment methods.

payment issue
the stuff being sold are amazing and people there are very warm but the only issue is with payment. it is open to turkey as well but the payment methods are not suitable for turkish people to buy or sell anything... paypal is no longer working here so i hope this can be fixed asap
