Many years after leaving the city to live overseas, writer-editor Orhan Şahin returns to Istanbul to work on the first book by prominent director, Deniz Soysal. Deniz shares a waterside mansion on the Bosphorus with his family, whose fortunes are fading fast. From the very first day, Orhan finds himself in the thick of Deniz’s family, his complicated relationships and inscrutable friends. As he rediscovers Istanbul through new eyes, Orhan begins to reconnect with long forgotten feelings.
