In the upcoming eighth season, the Smiths are back with more mischief and mayhem. Roger recruits Hayley as the lounge singer for the new high-class bar he’s installing in the attic, and Stan and Roger have an entrepreneurial “eureka” moment when they think of the world’s next game-changing business opportunity. This screwball family full of radically different personalities is just trying to figure out how to love and trust one another in a bi-partisan world. And with a guy like Stan in charge of national security, it’s guaranteed to be one whacky ride.

STAN AND THE CLAN ARE BACK!
Ever since its premiere back in 2005, I've been obsessed with "American Dad". I don't exactly know why, but I've always enjoyed it much more than "Family Guy". The well-developed characters, the consistently witty jokes, the over-the-top scenarios. "AD" has always been an entertaining series, even if it doesn't have the same massive fan base as "FG". Unfortunately, Season 7 ended up being the most disappointing in the show's history. It wasn't downright terrible, per se, but many of the episodes lacked the quality writing and clever humor "American Dad" is known for. Hopefully, that won't turn out to be much of an issue this time around. Judging by the premiere episode, it looks like "AD" is already back on track to serving up the same laughs we've come to expect from the animated series. That being said, here's to another memorable season with the Smith family!
2x Better than family guy
My Favorite Show!
I'm so glad this show is still going & hopefully will for years to come! I got really into this show last year by watching reruns on Adult Swim & it's better than Family Guy in my opinion. The season premiere was great & the writing & the humor is still just as good as it was in the previous seasons. It looks like this is gonna be another great season!
