One of HISTORY’s most loved series returns for more artifactual excitement! In small towns and along America's back roads, treasures are waiting to be uncovered; valuable relics from our history that are hidden in junk piles, buried in barns and stacked in garages. It takes experts to find them…and turn rust to riches. American Pickers follows two of the most skilled “pickers” – Mike Wolfe, owner of Antique Archaeology, and his business partner, Frank Fritz – as they hunt down objects with historical, collectible and pop culture value that have been long forgotten by their owners. Along the way, they meet people whose own stories open a window into American lives and history.

The show offers entertainment. it offers education not only about the job that they do but history. That's what so fascinating to me - the stories behind the items not just from the prospective of the owner and their story but how the item functioned in history. This is a great show. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys history. Frank and Mike and Danielle of course are great characters - very funny and original.
Now I have to start paying for RE-RUNS??
I have to start by saying I do love American Pickers. I have all the episodes from all the seasons.
That having been said,
I just downloaded the most recent episode, "The Return of Hobo Jack."
There was no return.
There was no added footage or lost scenes played for the first time.
The entire episode was a total RE-RUN of the Hobo Jack episode!!
Why change the title of a previously aired episode and sell it again???
Why should I have to pay for something from iTunes I already have now that the title has changed?
I started by saying I love the show. That's true.
But, I don't love it enough to keep paying for what I already have and quite frankly,
that episode wasn't even that good.
The return of Hobo Jack
Does anyone know if this is fixed? It was downloading an old episode. Anyone know how I can get the newer episode? I reported the problem to iTunes and it looks like they gave me a credit, but I want to get the correct episode!
