One of HISTORY’s most loved series returns for more artifactual excitement! In small towns and along America's back roads, treasures are waiting to be uncovered; valuable relics from our history that are hidden in junk piles, buried in barns and stacked in garages. It takes experts to find them…and turn rust to riches. American Pickers follows two of the most skilled “pickers” – Mike Wolfe, owner of Antique Archaeology, and his business partner, Frank Fritz – as they hunt down objects with historical, collectible and pop culture value that have been long forgotten by their owners. Along the way, they meet people whose own stories open a window into American lives and history.

The show offers entertainment. it offers education not only about the job that they do but history. That's what so fascinating to me - the stories behind the items not just from the prospective of the owner and their story but how the item functioned in history. This is a great show. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys history. Frank and Mike and Danielle of course are great characters - very funny and original.
I love to watch them pick out junk
Worth watching. Great cast and good production
Really like when Mike and Danielle Pick. It's a great pairing. I get the boyhood bond with Frank but the guy would lowball his family if he had the chance. Been watching from the start and look forward to every show.
