Description

Disney's American Dragon: Jake Long is a coming-of-age comedy-action series about Jake Long, a 13-year-old Asian-American boy. Jake strives to find balance in his life as a skateboard-grinding, New York teen while learning to master his mystical powers as the American Dragon, protector of all magical creatures secretly living in the human world. Jake's life takes hilarious turns as he juggles his grandfather-guided training regimen with all the social hurdles of adolescence, including the pursuit of his dream girl — whose alter ego turns out to be his arch-villain's protégé. In Season 2, Jake's dragon training steps up a notch as he is evolving into a more competent and skilled dragon. His friends Trixie and Spud become more involved in helping Jake fight evil, and his dream girl, Rose, may get tired of being his secret enemy.

New Look, New Challenges

In this new season, The American Dragon has a new look. It looks more drawn than animated. But it is still the one show that has romance and fighting. Jake's romance with Rose is still in the heat but even though Rose isn't in the main storyline, it doesn't mean she isn't still in the story. Jake faces new challenges and new foes. This is a great Disney Channel animated show opposite Kim Possible. They both have "moves" and are still different. Kim Possible can be for more of the female type audience and American Dragon: Jake Long can be for more of the male type audience. Still, they are both my favorite animated T.V. series even if I am a girl myself.

Ignore the fan complaints!

When I first saw the new designs, I was surprised as much as the fans were. Sure the new dragon design for Jake is wierd, but it dosn't matter! Steve Loter, director of Kim Possible, has brought better writing and action to this season of American Dragon!! So I'm here to say this: Ignore the soon to come one star reviews; they are exagerations!!!

stop comparing it to danny phantom

stop comparing this show to danny phantom..if you think it's so much better than go buy danny phantom! second, i like the story, but the animation is AWFUL!!! jake as a dragon is skinny and looks like a worm, while he also now has a square for a head? i like the show, but I'm no longer a fan because of how they have destroyed the look of the show (nothing was wrong with the last season people!!!!)
