DOES NOT make fun of actual fat people...
...unless you haven't embraced yourself as a fat person. As a fat person, I think this show is funny most of the time. When it isn't funny, it's because the writing simply falls flat. I find it funny that people judge this show when it is obviously satire. Race, religion, politics, and sexuality have all recieved this treatment in the past, albeit with a certain amount of controversy as well, but now it's time for size to take center stage. This does not make fun of fat people; it makes fun of society's obession with size. There's a big difference.
I love kirstie allie..
.. she's hot no matter how big she is. I love this show.
I have never watched this on tv before, but when I purchased one episode it was so funny that I bought the rest of the season! Kristi Ali is a riot, and overall the show is good too.
