Description

Twin brother and sister Dipper and Mabel Pines continue to unlock the secrets of Gravity Falls! Thrust into their new summer home, the siblings are adapting to their weird surroundings, especially Grunkle Stan, whose insatiable appetite for money drives him to spin every opportunity into a financial advantage. Despite her buoyant and energetic optimism, can Mabel handle the pressure when Grunkle Stan challenges her to run the Shack for a day? And, when Dipper discovers a hidden room inside the Shack, the twins fight over who will get it as their own.

AN ABSOLUTE GEM OF A CARTOON!

"Gravity Falls" is one of those rare shows that's able to appeal to kids, teens, and adults with its quirky and endearing characters, surprisingly smart humor, and smooth animation. Unlike most cartoons these days, the adventures in each episode actually connect with one another, so you have to watch the series from the very beginning in order to follow along with the integral storyline. Dipper and Mabel, the show's twin protagonists, are not only extremely likable, but refreshingly down-to-earth. They're polar opposites in every way, and yet, their sibling relationship always feels genuine and honest, never cynical or out of spite. The jokes are also hysterically clever and thoughtfully mature for a kid's series, and as a result, the laughs come much more frequently. When all is said and done, there's a solid reason why "Gravity Falls" has drawn such a big fan base since its premiere back in June. It's rare that you find a cartoon so brilliantly written, amazingly animated, and delightfully off-the-wall as this. For the first time in a very long time, Disney Channel has aired what has now quickly become one of my all-time favorite animated shows. With each new episode, the series just keeps getting better and funnier, and I simply can't wait to see where it goes from here. Will the Pines twins be able to unlock the mysteries that lurk in the secretive little town of Gravity Falls? Who knows? Well, I know one thing for sure: this cartoon rocks!

Love the show, hate the lack of a season pass

My kids & I love this Disney version of the x-files.
But the lack of a season pass is maddening.
I understand why Disney _may_ have done this when the show was first released - if they didn't know it would go a full season. But now we're at volume2. To my untrained eye, you have a hit.

Disney: please fix this, you can have my money - I just want to prepay for the season & have it auto download when new episodes are released.

Great Show

If you're a fan of animated shows, then check out Gravity Falls. The plot is genius, the animation is beautiful, and the jokes are hilarious. You'll fall in love with all the characters, as each one has their own unique personality. It's also a show that not only kids will love, but also teenagers and adults. This show also has fantastic mysteries that will make you want to see the next episode. Overall, this is easily my favorite show on Disney Channel, and after watching it, you too might agree.
