Jill > Vanessa

Wipeout has fallen so much in quality by replacing Jill with Vanessa Lachey. What were they thinking? Vanessa is AWFUL! She's completely fake and B-O-R-I-N-G. Jill seemed like she really enjoyed her "sideline reporter" gig and would cheer on and playfully snark at the contestants. She was very professional for not phoning it in last season, knowing that it would be her last. I understand why she left the show to pursue an acting career (she's on Teen Wolf) but it's not what it used to be without her gone. Wipeout started going downhill last season with Spring Wipeout as the comedic material and banter from the Johns became forced and obviously scripted but it seems to be back where it was at with last season's Winter Wipeout. On the other hand, Vanessa brings the overall quality down and adds nothing. She seems like she's there just for the paycheck and could care less about making an effort to connect with the contestants. Notice these first two episodes how she said nothing to the contestants standing next to her in the Wipeout Zone. With Jill, she would be seen talking to the contestant next to her about what's happening much like Joe Rogan in the last segment of Fear Factor. I used to love watching Wipeout since it started in June 2008, but with the addition of Vanessa it's definitely not a show I can't wait to watch every week like it used to be. And I don't mean to hate on her. She seems nice but she's not enthusiastic enough for the surprisingly important "sideline reporter" role. Jill is missed!

This is the best show EVER! I miss Jill, though.

What happen to Jill, she was awesome! This show was awesome when she was in it ):
