Description

Who shot JR? One of the men he cheated in business? One of the women he cheated in love? Or is the culprit closer to home? Season four solves the mystery, but there’s still plenty of intrigue to come with a power struggle over Ewing Oil, a political scandal, two weddings, two-timing, a dead body in the swimming pool and more in the sprawling saga of big money, big egos and big hair. The oil-soaked saga of the wealthy Ewing family continues in its fourth season – full of sibling wars, adultery, threats of divorce and doomed new marriages. In its fourth season, Miss Ellie learns shocking news about Jock that she finds unforgiveable, J.R. battles for his life and for control of Ewing Oil and the Ewing wives look elsewhere for love. Don't miss out on the season that solved the greatest cliffhanger in television history. Experience the passion and power deep in the heart of Texas!

Drama, Danger.....DALLAS

This is Dallas in its original, larger than life form. The whole world (millions of people) waited for the start of this season because....the "Who Shot J.R." question is answered. This is one of my favorite shows, and it is wonderful that it is finally released to iTunes. This season is true to its style--ruthless businessmaking (mostly by J.R.), cheating spouses, family feuds, and of course, OIL.

Slight SPOILERS : J.R. recovers from his accident and pretends to be the loyal family man....for awhile, but then he is back to his cheating ways. Someone from Sue Ellen's past emerges. Someone has a grand Southfork wedding. An unexpected person (supposed to be dead) re-emerges. The classic couple--Jock and Miss Ellie-- fight. A new family member is revealed.
5/5--Dallas
4/5--The season (If you are going in order, go ahead and buy. But if you want to revisit the best, I suggest seasons 1, 5, 6, 9, 11, or 12).
