Season 11 of Project Runway returns with a whole new look. This time, every challenge is a team challenge, forcing the 16 designers to work together while making their own creations stand out. The competition is intense and every episode has you on pins and needles waiting to see who creates beautiful clothing, who creates conflict and who creates both! Style icons Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn and Nina Garcia welcome Zac Posen as a featured judge and are also joined by guests including Bette Midler, Susan Sarandon, John Legend, Miranda Lambert, Joan and Melissa Rivers and more. Tim Gunn will serve as the mentor to the designers as they sew their way to Fashion Week. Aspiring designers not only have to make it work, they have to master the fine art of working with others.

Once again the only reason each year that I regret ditching my TV.
project runway season 11
not the most interesting contestants-- not the most interesting designs-- i even get the sense tim gunn is a little let down by the efforts made by the contestants. in past seasons there was at the very least some interesting television with good designs and some drama. yet this season seems to be missing the mark in every episode. i find it hard to believe that in a country where there are really good design schools, this is all that this is or the best that can be found? really? and a word to the contestants- play smarter! if there was a moment to make your ideas and talent known, this show would be it. so much bickering, bad design, poor craftsmanship and an overdose of attitude makes me wonder if anyone would hire you, buy your designs or even in some cases want to have a conversation with you. if i was a buyer for a major retailer, i would pass on all of them. if i was a stylist looking for something for a client, i would pass on all of them. if i had an opportunity to ask Ms. Klum in person about this season, 2 questions: 1. what happened? and 2. where is michael kors? this season- lots of schmatas.
