Description

Home is where the bar is! In this workplace comedy, Steve Byrne stars as a corporate attorney who finds new life behind the bar when he takes over his parents’ pub. Returning home to Pittsburgh from New York, Manhattan lawyer Steve Sullivan discovers that his Irish American father, Jack Sullivan (Dan Lauria) and Korean mother (Jodi Long) are planning to sell the family business – the local pub known as Sullivan & Son. Reconnecting with his best friend, his younger sister, a barfly, a cougar and his former sweetheart, he soon realizes that what he really wants out of life is to return to the old neighborhood and take over the bar – even if it means giving up his lavish Manhattan lifestyle and gorgeous girlfriend. So begins Steve’s quest for a more meaningful and rewarding life behind the bar. Vince Vaughn executive produces this comedy that also stars Brian Doyle-Murray, Christine Ebersole and Owen Benjamin.

Customer Reviews

I like it

It reminds me a little bit of Cheers and the characters have good chemistry and are funny.
Not sure why so many people hate laugh tracks…they actually enhance the comic experience.

Cast Alone

Base on the cast of this show alone it's worth giving it a chance and based on the first 2 episodes it looks good.

Super good

Really funny. Absolutely hilarious. This show is amazing even if those other dudes say it's total crap.
