After arguably one of the longest hiatuses in "South Park" history (nearly an entire year), the popular, in-your-face animated sitcom is back in action once again with its majorly-anticipated seventeenth season. Although this time around, there'll only be ten episodes, airing back to back, instead of the usual fourteen. Still, it'll be nice to see new material from Matt and Trey as they tackle relevant topics ranging from the George Zimmerman case to gay marriage to Miley Cyrus with their signature brand of ruthless social/political satire. This year's season premiere, "Let Go, Let Gov," about the Edward Snowden NSA scandal, felt like somewhat of an unevenly executed letdown compared to previous "SP" episodes, but I still have hope that the nine others to come won't disappoint. In fact, I have a feeling that Stone and Parker are only getting warmed up. The rest of Season 17 is gonna be truly awesome, just you wait!

Same old same old.

It feels like M&T have exhausted their supply of ideas. Nothing about this episode surprised, titillated or shocked me. I don't think I laughed once at anything the first episode offered. The SP concept has worn thin and the stories feel tired and hackneyed.

It's alright...

It was okay but I didn't laugh much
