iHearClear is a simple application that helps improve your ability to hear in difficult situations.
The application is a snap to use. Simply launch the iHearClear application and hold the end of your iPhone towards the sounds you want to amplify. Large on-screen controls enable you easily adjust the experience.
iHearClear provides the same functionality as other gadgets, but at a fraction of the cost.
iHearClear has dozens of uses. Use iHearClear:
…discretely at the movie theater to improve sound quality of your feature film.
…at parties, gatherings, or family reunions to communicate easier with friends.
…to more easily hear the TV without having to raise the volume or wake up your loved ones.
…while bird watching to amplify bird calls and other wildlife.
…around the house to hear a quiet doorbell or a spouse calling from the other room.
…at the park to keep eyes (and ears) on your children or grandchildren.
Compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch (with microphone attachment)
Requires standard set of earbuds
Requires iPhone 2.2 Software
This application has been brought to you in association with MagTownTech.
What's New in Version 1.02
Minor bug tweaks. Added larger touch control areas for the various buttons in the app.
To get the best usage out of this application, you need to use a headset that does not have a built-in microphone. Otherwise, you will only be able to amplify the sound that comes from that mic vs. the built-in directional mic that is in the iPhone. iPod Touch users will need to point their microphone in the direction of the audio source.
