TWEdit allows you to open, edit, and save TiddlyWiki files on iOS devices, providing a way for Tiddlywiki users to work with their Tiddlywiki files on the iPad, iPhone and iPod - both on- and off-line.
TiddlyWiki is a popular, single file, portable Wiki which can be used on most platforms. TWEdit allows TiddlyWiki to be used on iOS devices. For more information on TiddlyWiki please see www.tiddlywiki.com.
With TWEdit, TiddlyWiki files can be shared between TWEdit and Mac or PC via iTunes USB file sharing, or, with other apps on iOS devices via "Open In..." actions - sending .html and .zip files to TWEdit, or sending .html files out to other apps on the iOS device. This includes upload and download with Dropbox via the Dropbox App, direct synchronization with Dropbox, and integration with apps like FileApp and Goodreader.
TWEdit is designed to provide as light an interface as possible so that users can focus on interaction with TiddlyWiki, as opposed to with TWEdit. When working with a local TiddlyWiki in TWEdit the normal "save changes" command handles local saves - as when working from other PC based browsers.
What's New in Version 2.4.1
- Refines iframe handling to ensure that frames are loaded correctly in TW5
- Refines wiki loading to ensure that the modal "Loading..." screen closes when a URL is inaccessible
- Adapts wiki saving for the most recent TW5 core
Please add split screen multitasking
This is a good app for writing tiddlywiki on the go, but it lacks split screen multitasking and adding pictures to tiddlywiki. Please add the two functionalities!
