About The Gladiators
Jamaican roots reggae heroes the Gladiators were formed in the late 1960s, and quickly began their successful association with legendary producer Coxsone Dodd, recording at the famed Studio One. After their successes in Jamaica, the group snared a record deal in the U.K., finding even more fame with their late-'70s releases on the Virgin label. Longtime member Clinton Fearon left in the late '80s, but the Gladiators continued recording into the 21st century.
