Many people still reach for a pen and paper when they need to jot down a note. Why is this? There are many note-taking Apps on the App Store and most fail in one simple and important task: they require more than one step to begin taking notes. Often, they are more database Apps than note-taking Apps, relying on tags and titles to organize notes. Some are excellent at parsing text entered into a search field and ‘whittling’ down selections to a ‘clickable’ few; fewer take you right to the note you want as you type. nextNoteHD is fully functional with the keyboard up, down, or split, and maximizes screen real-estate in both landscape and portrait modes.
We believe a note-taking App should minimize the time it takes to convert a thought into a note. It should make the retrieval of notes equally as brief. It should be exceedingly simple to use without relying on an abundance of buttons and too many pages. It should make effective use of the iPad (and iPad 2) screen and it should be elegant in its function, form, and usability.
To this end we have created nextNoteHD. We believe it is the fastest, simplest, and most efficient note-taking and note-retrieving App on the App Store. Try it and let us know what you think.
