Album Review

A reissue of Dimmu Borgir's Devil's Path EP, this split release combines one of the black metal band's early efforts with another EP, In the Shades of Life, by fellow Norwegians Old Man's Child. Though this album is itself a reissue, it would arrive again in 2004 under the title Sons of Satan Gather for Attack.

Customer Reviews

An album of epic preportions.

This album is something that all metal can be proud of. The vocals of Dimmu Bogir and Old Man's child are an utter perfect combo. As the guteral howling of these two bands continue, one finds an almost insatiable desire to screem along with this unholy union of two of the greatest black metal bands of all time. Once the darkness of these bands embraces your eardrums, it will not let go and you will find yourself yearning for a fill of this pure twisted music all the time.

Although some groups like Emperor and Mayhem had already been making noise for...
