Customer Reviews

To the only idiot that give this 1 star? What are you smokin'?

I mean say "Cupid" is the only good song on this album is a big understatement. Obviously you listen to way too much radio (since "Cupid" was a hit single) and don't enjoy a very good album. Don't listen to that one-star review folks. This is CLASSIC all the way 'round. From the smooth "Just a Little While" to the party jammin' "Only You" to the heartbreaker "Throw It All Way" of those few and rare albums you can play all way through....every kind of love mood is captured vividly on 112's debut. Can't say much about the rest of 112's material after this, but the era of '96 seems to be the last good year for albums PERIOD. And please, avoid reading that 1-star reviewer's opinion and GET THIS.

Classic Album....

This is my first review. This album reminds me of a more innocent 112. They sung alot of ballads on this album and that is a good thing. Todays 112 will give you songs like "Anywhere" and "Peaches n Cream". This album was full of songs like "I Will Be There" and probably their best commercial song of this album "Only You". The best song on this album is "Cupid" the percussions are unique and deliver a feel to this song that is unmatched. Great Album. In my personal opinion this is 112's best total album. You can play it from beginning to end. The only flaw some of the songs near the end start to sound the same. That is a very minor grip thou.

112 the album was the world's introduction to Q, Mike, Slim, Daron To sum it up in one word (CLASSIC) this was 112's first album out of five and my personal favorite...the fellas were teenagers with adult voices bringing a sound like no other...112 took harmonizing to another level... I have been a 112 supporter since the beginning and will continue to be one until the day I die.. 112 has yet to disappoint me with their beautiful voices and catchy lyrics

Equally rooted in gospel, soul, and hip-hop, 112 were the first and most successful urban vocal group to emerge from Sean "Puffy" Combs' Bad Boy Records roster. Not only was the group's eponymous 1996 debut popular, but the group could be heard on records by such Bad Boy artists as Mase and the Notorious B.I.G. Unlike most artists on Bad Boy, 112's image was clean, pure, and wholesome (initially, at least), which helped the group cross over to a more mainstream audience. The four members of 112 --...
