Gibson's best-known hits were recorded in the late '50s and early '60s for RCA with Chet Atkins producing. This recording are drawn from his work for Hickory Records in the early '70s. They include "Woman, Sensuous Woman," "Country Green" and several remakes of his earlier hits.

Simple and Wonderful

Don Gibson was one of the best singers in Country music. His voice is smooth and he is able to carry the entire song without today's electronics. The lyrics are simple without repetition. This alblum is a good representation of his work. I love it!
