Screw Diddy but...

Really the songs are just remixes to his old greats but....Diddy if i ever see you in the streets i swear on my life open hand slap you straight in the face. How can you make money off your dead friend--you would be nothing without him.

Skip It

Im a great fan of BIG and loved his music and what he did for hip hop in the 90s. Im probably going to catch heat for saying this but this is a "Final Chapter" that should not have been written. If you haven't already done so go pickup "Life After Death" instead of this money grab attempt by Diddy and the Bad Boy crew. It all feels thrown together with a bunch of mixed up remixes of Biggies material with more guest appearances than I can count. Dont waste your time. The only track I still have on my iPod is "1970 Somethin".

King of Hip Hop!

This is a prime example that B.I.G. is a universal artist who's lyrics doesnt get stale. Diddy did a great job keeping biggie's vibe fresh by mixing some of his old songs with new beats. This album is obviously a compilation album and could be compared to a movie soundtrack with an array of different R&B and Hip Hop artist present on the LP (all platinum singers and songwriters). Many say that this is the best album made by biggie. I disagree but definitly one that should be in everyone's music library. Some negatives are (at least in my opinion) Diddy didnt mix some lyrics to the beat seemlessly. In 1970 Somethin' the track sounds like biggie can't stay on beat! Also, in It has been said biggie isnt even in the song! Overall a stong 5 star record. I highly recommend it to all rap consumers something for everyone North, South, East, West even a little raggae feel with suicidal thoughts ooops i mean Hold Ya Head. So sit back download and enjoy!!!
