Forget What You Know About Re-recordings!

I have purchased what I thought were the original songs by artists of the past only to find out that they were inferior re-recordings - that I detest. That is not so in this case. I have no idea when this album was recorded, but it is in stereo. Al Alberts, the lead singer, sounds like it's 1955, only the sound quality is so great. By the way, as a side note: "Love is a many Splendored Thing" was offered to all the major recording artists of the day, including Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, and Nat King Cole, and they all turned it down! The Four Aces stepped in, and it won the Academy Award for best song of 1955. Then, EVERYONE recorded it!
