Editors’ Notes

This package provides a concise cruise through Prince's career, from late-'70s R&B jewels ("I Wanna Be Your Lover") to quirkier, more iconoclastic early-'80s fare ("Head," "Controversy"), arena-rock power balladry ("Purple Rain"), minimalist funk ("Kiss"), and more. And the addition of a bountiful batch of B-sides, rare live recordings, and previously unreleased tracks makes this the Prince best-of to beat.

Customer Reviews

Buy it.

The b-sides and unreleased songs on this is worth the download price. Now we need iTunes to release the black album.

Well worth the price!

With each album he released, Prince has shown remarkable stylistic...
