Fantastic!

I cannot stress enough how good a pianist Vladimir Horowitz was. I haven't yet found a bad recording that he has produced, and the parts of this album that I have listened to are not exempt. However, it pains me that one of the best-selling albums of Horowitz on iTunes (this one) is a compilation. I mean, why can't people be more discerning? Is it that people feel they should have at least one album of Horowitz in their library, but are not wiling to buy any more than just that one? I also think that having only one movement from a piece being played, and then something completely different played afterward is distasteful. The composers wished for the movements to be played from the first to the last without disruption. Some of the cases are acceptable, such as the etude in D-sharp minor by Scriabin, but in other cases like the 6 Moments Musicaux, it is not acceptable. If people could just decide what they liked and stopped buying albums with an old guy on it that says he was a master of the 20th century the world would be a better place!
