20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best of Flatt & Scruggs

Reseña de álbum

Flatt & Scruggs' volume of Mercury/Universal's 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection is an excellent, basic collection of 12 of the duo's finest recordings for Mercury. Many, though not all, of their signature tunes are here, including "Foggy Mountain Breakdown," "Roll in My Sweet Baby's Arms," "I'll Just Pretend," and "Pike County Breakdown." This certainly can't be called definitive, even as a retrospective of just their Mercury recordings, but as a sampler for the curious or budget-minded listener, this is a strong choice.

Amazing

Scruggs and Flatt make me wanna ditch my iPod and build a log cabin.

Log Cabin and iPod

I purchased this this to listen on my iPod while I finish up building my log cabin in the North Carolina mountains--the local crew really likes it as well!

Pickin fools

This album is what music should be...

Not that junk you hear coming out of Nashville these days.

Amazing Album, will blow your mind.

During the '40s, the group added "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" to the bluegrass canon, and during the '50s and '60s, they became the most visible bluegrass act in the country, performing often...
