Great Danceable Sex Rock!

When We Are Standard’s frontman Deu Chacartequi demands repeatedly on their Minty Fresh debut 3000v-400000w, “I want you baby... on the floor” you can be damn sure the last thing the musical Lothario has on his mind is “dancing”.

Cool dance rock album (especially "On the Floor"). Reminds me of Franz Ferdinand- really upbeat, fun to dance to


What's with the song "Supermarket" it lifts a whole line and melody from Pulp's "Common People" . . . like cut and paste. That turned me off completely. They had to know someone would notice, and yet it isn't a cover, so what is it?

Rest of the album is pretty ho-hum.
