EDITORS’ NOTES

These Dubliners presented a new take on Celtic soul music with their 2008 eponymous debut and followed it with 2011’s Science & Faith. Both albums spawned monster hits that radiated a joyous spirit despite being woven with minor-chord melancholy. While the three-piece uses the same mixture of guitar, bass and drums that populate any number of rock bands, The Script are equally indebted to hip-hop and R&B. For its aptly titled third full-length, #3, the gentlemen worked with will.i.am on the lead single, “Hall of Fame”—it’s among the most uplifting and inspiring tracks in The Script’s catalogue and is perfect fodder to fuel your next workout.

Amazing!

This is definitely my new favorite album! Very impressed. My favorite tracks include: Glowing, Six degrees of separation and No Words! Definitely check this album out. Another quality album from a great talented band.

:(

I am not as impressed with the Script as I used to be. They have lost their roots and gone on to make more mainstream, poppy music. Part of the reason why I liked them is because they didn't do that.

It's Okay...

I could be one of the biggest Script fans out there, but to me this album isn't consistent with their past albums. Their organic sound seems to be lost.
