Song are good enough to warrant a release!

Even though these are ‘leftovers’ from previous recording sessions and a remake of a PT song, they are definitely good enough for their own release. Very happy to have this interim set of songs before the next album! Don’t hesitate to buy.

It's so hard to "critique" SW, hes simply amazing as we all know. Im not giving this 5 stars only because "The Raven...." and "Hand Cannot Erase" were brilliant and this was the "forgotten" stuff, but still amazing, classic SW, but the female vocals really gave these last 2 albums a new flare, and I was fortunate enough to see the RAREST of shows, the egg in albany, was an all time great show, then he lost his voice, cancelled boston, and still played NYC beacon theatre the next night, BUT, Ninet had to learn all songs / lyrics backstage before show, which was simply amazing, RollingStone even wrote a piece on it. FINALLY giving recognition to this forgotten genre of PROG!! The Bowie tribute was the icing on the cake for 2016...and another tour is in stone for the end of 2016.

Missed the mark

I am a fan of Steven Wilson, and have been for years. I found 4 1/2 not to be anywhere near the last 2 records quality, musically. These sound like tracks that didn't make it to those records. They lack the musical panache that Steven's work normally has. I am dissappointed. All of musicians on here are exceptional players, and I have the highest respect for their abilities. Maybe it will grow on me, as of my first listen I didn't take to it.

Thanks to a prolific work ethic that puts even Damon Albarn's extensive list of side projects to shame, self-taught producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist Steven Wilson has gradually become one of the U.K.'s most critically acclaimed cult artists. Born in Kingston Upon Thames in London in 1967, Wilson was inspired to pursue a career in music after devouring his parents' Pink Floyd and Donna Summer records, and by the age of 12 he had already started to experiment with different guitar and...
