Witit Witit

Witit Witit

A Westside icon with an unimpeachable pedigree, Daz debuted on The Chronic, produced countless hits for Snoop, Tupac, and Nate Dogg, and was half of Tha Dogg Pound with Kurupt. With a 20-year career that's endured various beefs, untimely deaths, label issues, changing industry trends, lawsuits, bootlegs, and more, he continues to release new music nearly every year, discovering young talent and cranking out G'd-up California anthems. Witit Witit is his 14th solo release. It picks up where 2011's D.A.Z. left off, with another batch of jams about love for the hood ("4 Tha Hood"), rolling in the whip ("Ryd'n"), and stacking cash ("D-Boy Money"), plus freely dispensing beatdowns and bullets whenever necessary. Veteran emcees Khujo and 8 Ball lend a hand, as do newcomers Schy Keeton, Mz. Jenise, and Crystal. The minimalist beats come courtesy of Drumma Boy, Mike WiLL Made It, and Maestro.
