iTunes Review

This recording features Matthews paired once again with cohort Tim Reynolds who turn this concert of old favorites, new tunes and well-selected covers into an intimate listening experience, with lots of chatty commentary and extended acoustic guitar flights. Matthews taps the emotional cores of familiar numbers like “Gravedigger” and “Crash Into Me,” while Reynolds has revelatory moments of his own with “You Are My Sanity” and “Betrayal.”

A Must Have

Not only is the price amazing but the quality of sound, the power of the audience, the guitars the voice of Dave... to not buy this CD would be a huge loss on your part. Easily my favorite live performance CD it offers the best of Tim and Dave and has many of there popular songs and is a good chance to listen to a variety of there works. A must have for all that love music.

The Dynamic Duo Strikes Again!

Fantastic release by D&T, then again it would be hard to think of a bad show to release when it comes to these two. Overall, a great show, with old favorites mixed in with some newer songs and Dave solo material. Needless to say, the two sound amazing together. Tim, the guitar wizard, and Dave the master songwriter. And a very clever way to make even more $$$ with the bonus discs. Never ceases to amaze me...

Good Mix of Reworked Old and New!

Dave and Tim have been playing and performing together a long time now and they continue to sound great together. I prefer the sound of the full band, but Tims playing is amazing and compliments Daves vocal and guitar work so well... and that really stands out in an acoustic setting. This is a great show and probably their best release so far. If you've liked past Dave and Tim, then get it. :)

Formed in the early '90s by South African vocalist/guitarist Dave Matthews, the Dave Matthews Band presented a more pop-oriented version of the Grateful Dead crossed with elements of jazz, funk, and the worldbeat explorations of Paul Simon and Sting. Matthews populated the group with several Virginia-based musicians -- bassist Stefan Lessard, saxophonist Leroi Moore, violinist Boyd Tinsley, drummer Carter Beauford, and, initially, keyboardist Peter Griesar -- and the band built up a strong word-of-mouth...
